Shipping instructions for Hard Drives and other sensitive storage media.

When shipping a hard drive or other storage media, please follow these steps:

1. Enclose hard drive or other storage media into an anti-static bag (anti-static bags can be obtain at just about any computer retail store or computer repair shop.)

2. Place storage media inside a sturdy box (position media in the center of the box) and insulated with at least (minimum) of 2 inches of protection on all sides. For insulation you can use foam, bubble-wrap, shipping-peanuts, etc. Packaging materials can be obtained at any shipping outlet or stationary store.

3. Place a copy of evaluation form inside box (if evaluation from was filled out on the website, skip this step and just insert a business card or a note as to who you are in the box.)

4. Use good strong shipping tape to secure package.

5. Send package overnight via a courier such as; FedEx, UPS, DHL, Airborne. For added security, make sure package is insured and have someone sign for it upon receipt, and also save the tracking number.

(Once your package arrives at our site, we'll give you a call to let you know it arrived here safely and at that point we'll give you a JOB NUMBER #.)
